These Apps will help you as a Student

Learning we all know is a step by step process and it has not been easy from time immemorial, there is a diverse approach to learning which ranges from constant studying, reading and practice. Since the invention of the internet learning has been quite easy, as there are tools readily available on the internet that students can use to enhance their learning and also improve their academics. But students find it hard to source the right tools ease learning that's why today I will be listing out apps that can help you as a student.

myHomework Student Planner

MyHomework Student Planner is a digital student planner that lets you track your classes, homework, tests and projects so you never forget an assignment again. This app is free to download and it's available for Android, iOS and Windows users.

Oxford English Dictionary

It is very important to have a dictionary as a student, as it aids your learning when you approach new words. The Oxford English Dictionary is free for download and it's available for Android and iPhone users.

Google Drive

Save and archive all of your documents and projects online so that your work can be safe if your laptop crashes. You can also work offline and work with your classmates on a project. Google Drive is free to download on Playstore and App store.

Mathway

Mathway is designed to do everything from the easiest of calculations to the most fearsome of formulas. For those of you who purposefully tried to stop doing math after your GCSEs but ended up choosing a degree that required it anyway (here's to you, students of social sciences), this app is going to call an end to the hours spent stressing, wondering what this strange E-looking thing is:

All you need to do is type your problem and Mathway will solve it for you. If you want to know how to get the answer rather than just what it is, Mathway can also give you a comprehensive step-by-step guide to finding the solution.

This is where the app, especially, comes in handy for the more mathematically inclined students – it's like having your professor around 24/7 to better illustrate what you're trying to do. You can download Mathway for Android and iOS.

Sleep Cycle

Sleep is essential to humans and as a student, you need just the right sleep for your brain to function well.

Waking up during deep sleep is what makes us feel groggy and grumpy, so by monitoring your movements, the app can determine when to get you out of your sleep. A good eight hours are always the best course of action for feeling well-rested in the morning, but the next best thing is the Sleep Cycle.

With Sleep Cycle You can add 'sleep notes' before you go to sleep each night, such as 'got drunk' or 'went to the gym'. Over time you're then able to see which habits have a positive or negative effect on your sleep.

Microsoft Office

With the Microsoft Office App, you can easily type text, assignments, documents, PowerPoint presentations, Excel files and projects. Get it now on your Android and iPhone.

Evernote

Evernote lets you take pictures of your written notes and upload them to the app. Assuming that your handwriting is readable, you will be able to search for words just as you would with a typed note. Evernote is good for keeping all your notes in one place. Download now for your Android or iPhone.

This will be all for now, you can always come back to this page to look out for more effective learning apps and remember not to keep this to yourself, share this post with your friends and classmates and if some other useful applications have not been listed here that you would love to share with us you can use the comment box below. Thanks for your time.
